About

About the Owners

Whether we are caught in a blizzard in the frigid mining country in the north, or getting an over-wide load across a narrow bridge on a detour. We know how to be resourceful and get the job done safely.

David Anderson, partner of D&G Pilot Truck Service

David grew up on a prairie farm,  so mechanical/construction knowledge and a resourceful nature are part of who he is. As a pilot truck operator, he got his start many years ago piloting for a house moving business.  David helped plan and safely move many large houses and buildings and that experience is of great value to our clients.

Gordon Topping, partner of D&G Pilot Truck Service

Gordon has always loved to travel and explore new parts of the province, as well as meeting and working with new people from all over.  He retired at a young age from a tedious government position started into the piloting business in 2013.  His experience and knowledge of overdimentional load transport planning, safety and execution is extensive.
